Water tank installation works at South Ruislip Vent Shaft

What we are doing

From 7 April to 16 May 2025, we will begin works to install the attenuation water tank at South Ruislip Vent Shaft. The attenuation water tank is used to capture excess surface water such as rain.

We will cut the old concrete and lift it out. As we dig down, we may need to also break the concrete which could be disruptive. You may experience increased construction noise during these works.

We’ll use noise reducing barriers around the construction machinery where possible. Noise and vibration monitoring will be in place throughout these works.
