HS2 is Britain’s new high-speed railway — the most significant addition to the rail network in over a century.
We’re building a railway that will give more people access to reliable, high-speed journeys while freeing up space on one of the busiest parts of the existing network.
HS2 is already delivering for Britain. About 30,000 construction workers and more than 3,500 UK businesses are building the railway right now — creating jobs, developing skills and driving growth across the country.
